Informed consent has legal and clinical practice implications. This webinar reviews nursing and legal considerations for the forensic nurse when obtaining informed consent from the patient who has experienced sexual assault or intimate partner violence and is a minor, has cognitive disabilities, mental health concerns, or an altered level of consciousness.
