This learning session will provide a foundation for the completion of pediatric medical forensic examinations. Normal and abnormal ano-genital findings will be discussed as well as their significance related to child sexual abuse. Indications for testing for sexually transmitted infections in the pediatric population will be described and interpretation of positive STI results related to child sexual abuse will also be discussed.
