Estimated time to complete: 40 hours This online pediatric/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) didactic training program is geared toward the Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse planning on practicing in the role of pediatric SANE. This course meets the IAFN SANE Education Guidelines and provides 40 contact hours in nursing upon completion.
Please note the following:
1. The course must be completed in 12 weeks or less to receive credit;
2. License in good standing verification is required;
3. High speed internet connectivity and speakers or a headset is necessary to obtain content;
4. No refunds will be given for failure to complete.
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of registered nurses and advanced practice nurses involved in the treatment and care of pediatric victims of sexual assault.
