The primary goal of the OVC 2019 Using Telehealth to Improve Care, Access and Quality of Sexual Assault Forensic Exams grant program is to increase the number of highly trained SANEs and other medical forensic examiners and provide high-quality care for patients who have experienced sexual assault. The grant RFP requires that this goal be accomplished by incorporating the Quality Caring Model© to ensure the development of patient-centered and trauma informed TeleSAFE programs.

The webinar will provide an overview of how Joanne Duffy’s Quality Caring Model©is reflected in forensic nursing practice and discuss how this framework may be implemented into a TeleSAFE program.
